Open WiFi and the Slate router

I am wondering if the Slate travel router will do this automatically, or is some manual input always required. I bought this router for the car. When travelling we have favorite free wifi spots to stop off at to eat and use the wifi without having to go into the coffee shop or fast food place to use the wifi. For instance McDonalds offer free wifi, and the router will auto connect but will not allow us to use the wifi without checking the acept terms box. I know there is a way to sign up to avoid this with some sites, but it does not always work.

My question is, is there a way for the router to take care of accepting the terms of wifi service on my behalf? There should be a script for this shouldn’t there?

No, the firmware will only detect the captive portal and redirect you to it. You have to manually accept and terms though.
