Openvpn client failover

We have multiple WAN's at our VPN server and need our GL.Inet routers to be able to support OpenVPN failover.

Reading OpenVPN documentation, one OpenVPN profile appears to support as many

remote xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 1194 udp

lines as you'd like. The first one to respond is used.

I have tried manually editing the configs in the /etc/openvpn directory and I'm finding out that GL.Inet openvpn client will not follow those typical rules/features.

Is there a workaround or should I be trying to do this a different way?

To support multiple server addresses, it is necessary to develop in firmware.

I don't know what you using router is.
Please check the download center GL.iNet download center, the firmware supported v4.8.0 router is to build multiple tunnels and failover.
