OpenVpn issues Slate AX (GL-AXT1800) with ProtonVpn

2 Issues:

ProtonVpn (free tier) generates an error message in the interface when using udp (no issue with tcp). You cannot disconnect the vpn or change to another one. Pic attached. Despite that it seems the vpn is working. Rebooting does nothing.

Resetting firmware: After resetting to factory settings, once the vpn configuration errors were still there. So either you clean manually the config files connecting to the router or you flash the firmware again without keeping settings. This has happen only once, cannot replicate again.

Did you try with other vpn? I am going to try mine if the cause same issue

I am testing for now with a mango router working as ovpn server, limevpn and protonvpn. I will test with more services later. No issue with wireguard, but openvpn is giving issues. I created another thread about dns issues with ovpn server in the mango and limevpn.
But this error message with protonvpn and udp is unique. I use udp with the mango and limevpn and I only find the dns issue described in the other thread. No error message and no interface blockage.
