OpenWRT ath79 builds for Domino

Hello,
With the ar71xx branch of OpenWRT being deprecated, I would like to start using the ath79 branch.
But I do not see a Domino build there: [OpenWrt Wiki] ath79

Is it recommended to just use the AR150 build on the Domino instead, or is there a better way?

You can use the AR150 target, you may need to make some simple changes to the IO, but anyway, the firmware will works

Do you mean the IO like the LED GPIOs? Or something else?

Okay, I did it.

root@GL-MIFI:/tmp# sysupgrade openwrt-ath79-generic-glinet_gl-ar150-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin
Device gl-domino not supported by this image
Supported devices: glinet,gl-ar150 gl-ar150
Image check 'fwtool_check_image' failed.

I was able to override that with “sysupgrade -F”, but that’s fairly scary. Any chance you would submit to have “gl-domino” added as a valid target for the gl-ar150 firmware? So future upgrades will work properly without having to do the override?

There are no definite plans yet, but I think future ATH79 will support all the GL products currently on AR71XX
