Performance and Connection Problems with some clients with E750

I bought the E750 to use it with eSIM. It works perfectly with most of my devices. But I’ve got problems with some devices:

  • MacBook Air - works perfect, also for streaming

  • iPhone 15 - works perfect, also for streaming

  • iPhone SE - works perfect

  • Old Huawai mobile phone - works perfect

Not working at all are:

  • iPad 5th generation, up-to-date firmware. Download and upload very poor (<1kB / s), looses connection from time to time

  • HP Elitebook, Windows 11 - Download and upload very poor (<1kB / s), Outlook will not send an eMail at all.

I’ve tried everything: changing from 2,4 to 5 and back, even „no password“. I’ve installed the 4.8 beta. No success. Limiting speed for all the clients: no success.

I’m using all the working models at the same time without problems.

Could you please test or provide the following?

  1. Please assign different SSIDs to your 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. Once separated, connect your iPad and HP to each band individually and test if the performance improves.

  2. If the connection remains slow, please log in to LuCI > Network > Wireless to check the actual "negotiated speed" (TX/RX rates) for each device. Kindly do this while connected to the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands separately so we can identify any signal-level bottlenecks.

  3. Please deploy the OpenSpeedTest server on the E750 following this tutorial, then run speed tests on both the iPad and HP to confirm whether the bottleneck is on the Wi-Fi side or within the router's forwarding.
