Phone not using encrypted DNS server from the router

can someone explain why my phone is not using the encrypted dns server from the gl inet router while my PC is using the encrypted DNS from the gl inet router ? i’m using the doh server from mullvad and for some reason when i go on the mullvad website with my phone in the dns leak test from their website i see my phone connected to cloudfare instead of using the mullvad doh server is that normal? i don’t have this issue with my PC

i’m using the last firmware 4.9.0 , there is no vpn activated on the router , there is not any encryptd dns or vpn enabled on my phone so wheree tthe issue is coming from?

Maybe you enabled Private DNS on your phone

If its an Iphone and you are running beta v27 go to wifi settings scroll down and turn off Connectivity assist

no i didn’t my phone doesn’t have any encrypted dns enbled

iphone 17 i’m using ios 26.6 actually

i’m on ios 26.6 i can’t find this option is it only on the beta 27 ?

Do you have iCloud private relay enabled, if yes then disable that.
