Policy Routing per Client Device failover to WAN or not?

Hello,

Just got my Flint 2 and am trying the Policy Routing where I can route clients based on MAC-address over the VPN. Seems to work fine, I just can’t find any info on what happens if the VPN goes down, will the client fallback to the regular WAN or will it be blocked from accessing the internet?
