Port forwarding CRETA AR750

Hi there, my 1st question, is it normal that 192.168.1.132 doesn't respond to the ping ?
Is it the good practice that I plug the wan port of AR750 to the provider box ?

I want to manage the firewall on my provider box and I want to prohibit all incoming to 445 except the IP of the AR750, so is it ok to allow to 192.168.1.132 ?
or 192.168.2.150 ?
This LAN IP doesnt ping neither, is it normal ?

1. You can enable this function of the AR750 router to allow ping from the WAN side, as shown below:
   

   

2. It is possible to only allow port 445 of the AR750 IP, but this setting needs to be made on the AR750's upstream router (provider box).

I have some options of security, but no ping

But the ping should be ok from the lan anyway ?

Please confirm the firmware version you are using.

Ping from LAN should be OK, in the same subnet, with the same mask

Finaly I could solve my case modifying the zone forwardings that is reject by default, accept and the ping to wan is ok (192.168.1.32)
