Problem with attaching usb drive GL Slate

Hello there,

Am hoping I could get some help please … I have the GL Slate, have a Samsung T7 2tb SSD drive. My goal is to plug it into the Slate and enable streaming of music and video files over the local network …

Problem is, I plugged it in, and it doesn’t show up anywhere in the GL web interface.

I looked at the help file File Sharing - GL.iNet Docs
which mentions

“On the left side of web Admin Panel → APPLICATIONS → File Sharing → File Sharing”

Under Applications I only see Plugins, Dynamic DNS, and Goodcloud. Ok, so I understand it needs to be installed. Under Plug-ins what is the name of the package I should install? I only see file and filefrag - no mention of filesharing…

Help appreciated!

Might want to log in via ssh and see its mounted and to what mount point if so “ls /mnt”. Aside from that, go into Luci (via the System → Advanced Settings) and look for it somewhere in there.
