I have a few devices with serial (RS232) emergency inputs. I'd love a device that I could plug into my Comet (X, but making it more generic for the other options would be great) and expose ~4 DB9 or RJ45 serial ports. Having a common UI for accessing the KVM functionality on my NAS devices as well as terminal access to my networking devices would be incredible. Making it a USB-C to multi-port DB9/RJ45 device would make it fairly rare on the market if it can be used with a generic Linux/Windows/Mac PC - most of the solutions out there only handle a single device instead of acting as a cheap terminal server. As a price point, I did find a USB-C to 4-port serial cable for US$60.
