Proper Tethering Tutorial?

I have the Beryl AX, and now, Mudi 7, and tethering has always been an inexact effort of plugging and unplugging devices over and over again until the two finally see each other and work.

What is the proper, step-by-step process?

FWIW, I have Wi-FI shut off on my iPhone, hotspot turned on, and cell data only working.

you go with usb2 and a good cable.
if it dont work unplugg and turn around lighting-cable.
in bad cases: restart router and turn off/on the phone - replug.

still problems ? change lighting cable

Plug mudi 7 to Beryl via USB cable, that’s it.
