ProtonVPN wireguard integration

Hello all,

I want to login with username and password to setup protonVPN and select any servers that I want, like the integration for Surfshark or ipVanish instead of selecting one server at a time. Is there something like that currently for protonVPN?

ProtonVPN does not provide API to do that. We had talks with them and nothing can work out.

Maybe you can talk with ProtonVPN as a user.

Is it really? Because I've been with Proton and their speed is fast even with secure-core. That seems nice to have the server available in GUI if I'm not mistaken. I once heard that Proton got called out on and was found to be leaking logs? Is that for real and have they changed their way. I would really like to know that. Hehe

I think Proton is good. But bigger companies are difficult to work with.

@alzhao if I am correct, they have open source Linux app. Maybe GL can embed it into firmware?

Without agreement we are not going to integrate 3rd party services. They can easily change APIs and break our firmware.

This happened for other providers already.

Thanks for your efforts. We have talked with them privately and things don't work out in commercial concerns, not something technically.

There are not nice comments in their forum and I don't want to argue there.
