Rate my set up ( am i broke ? )

current setup and whether I’m on the right track.

I work as a freelancer for a company that requires me to be in my country of origin.

Here’s how I proceed:

The connection to the company’s service is done through a web page with Google authentication (company account). From there I have access to all resources, an IP phone to make client calls, and a database.

I have a WireGuard server connected to my ISP’s internet box (the provider allows this) and a Cherry box as a travel router, which is connected to the WireGuard server.

On my desktop (Mac OS) I’ve disabled Wi-Fi, but I keep Bluetooth enabled since I use wireless headphones, a mouse, and a keyboard.

On my laptop (Mac OS) I’ve enabled Wi-Fi to connect to the travel router.

all the computer are my own.

I have to use Google Chrome for work, and I’ve disabled location for the Chrome app on Mac OS.

Where do I stand in terms of security?

Am I missing something?

IP leak and browser leak both indicate an IP in my country, so no problem there, same for DNS and WebRTC…

A few days ago I received an automatic email saying that I had logged in from abroad, but I must have messed up at the hotel and not paid attention (I was on vacation that week and just wanted to check my schedule). So I figure I just need to make sure everything is perfect in the days ahead…

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Is this a GL router? What model?

There seems to be no hidden dangers.
As long as DNS, WebRTC, etc. are not leaked, your network will be relatively safe.

If I have to say where there is still a problem, just don’t enable Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, etc., and connect to the travel router with a wired connection.

Absolutely, this is an AX 3000 ( Beryl ) from GL . I don’t know why I wrote cherry :face_with_raised_eyebrow:..

my question is how a simple website on my own computer can leak location with Bluetooth and WiFi ? Because I don’t know how to work without the Bluetooth, all my stuff are connected like that .

And disabled gps for chrome not enough ? I need to completely disconnect the function for all the computer ?

For the WiFi , I suppose I could make an effort, this is just I like to work in the garden at the end of the day when this is more fresh :smiling_face_with_tear::innocent:

Bluetooth and WIFI can also be auxiliary positioning.

Of course GL firmware has enabled BSSID randomization for AP and Repeater, to help you reduce the possibility of tracking as much as possible.

It doesn't matter, for the network links, I think they are relatively safe as long as there is no leakage.
