I have a Brume acting as WAN gateway, DHCP, OpenVPN client, etc. for a large home network.
I’m having LAN outages lasting ~2 minutes, occurring about once a day. The WAN, OpenVPN etc. stay up but all LAN activity stops - pings dropped, no traffic between any devices.
The LAN always comes back of its own accord, after which the log contains many messages as follows:
“br-lan: received packet on lan0 with own address as source address (addr:94:83:c4:00:d5:4f, vlan:0)”
That mac address is the Brume’s LAN port.
Any suggestions about how to diagnose and fix this would be very welcome !!
