Reprogram reset button

Hi forum folk,

I have seen some old posts about people customising the reset buttons on their devices for alternative functions.

I also note the toggle button (present on some models) can now be bound to different functions.

I have a Spitz Plus and want to reprogram the reset button to toggle the active SIM between slot A and slot B.

Is there a best practice for doing this? Things to consider?
