Reprogramme switch on GL-MT300N-V2 (Mango)

I’m curious as to whether its possible to re-programme the switch on a GL-MT300N-V2 so that rather than toggling whether the VPN is on/off it changes the mode from router to extender and back?

It is possible but this is quite complicated.

You can find the script in /etc/init.d/initswitch and /etc/rc.button

Hi - Do you have a guide on how to do this? Also where can I access this path? I just got my Mudi and planning to change the function of the switch, similar to the smaller router I have (black one from gl inet also). Was planning to use the switch to switch between cellular mode and to access point mode. Thanks!
