[Resolved] First-Time Power-On, Password Fails

As delivered, connected to Ethernet on WAN port, using supplied power adapter. MacBook Pro 16-inch, 2019, Monterey 12.4. The password on the sticker (“WiFi Key”, I’m assuming fails for both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channels.

The Wi-Fi network “GL-AXT1800-3fc-5G” requires a WPA2 password.

(or without the -5G)

Password reentered multiple times on both bands with the same failure message and lack of connectivity through the AX1800

Wired login is successful, upstream connectivity is confirmed as expected by local DHCP configuration.

Copy-paste from the screen resolved the issue.

Traced to mistaking 5 for S on the label

Edit: Definitely hard to read and with a cell phone, annoying to have to deal with the shift key. You might want to consider shifting to lower-case characters, if not also hard-to-confuse characters, in the future.
