I just purchased a Mudi V2 with the EM060K-GL modem and will be travelling in Germany for a couple weeks in December. I will test my unit out on the o2 and Vodafone network to see if I have similar issues.

We may add some keep-alive and detect mechanism, etc. in the router firmware to ensure to if the router is in a powered up state.
It will keep trying to re-connect always whenever the modem link is abnormal.
Requirements have been submitted and are being evaluated by PM and R&D team.
