Router slowing down speed significantly?

Hello!

I have two Slate AX-1800 routers.

One is connected to my home network, which gets around 100mbps down.

The other is connected via repeater to my destination network, which has about 300mbps down.

However, when I do a speedtest when connected to the router via ethernet, I’m only getting about 8mB/s down.

The product says it can support Wireguard up to 500mB so I must be doing something wrong here. Any help would be appreciated.

So you use one as Wireguard server and one as Wireguard client, right?

It seems that your ISP limit your upload speed. So your Wireguard will be limited.

If this is the case, you should ask your isp give you a plan that has good upload speed.

Hello! Are these bad speeds? I thought they were good

On server network, we have 100mbps download and 10mbps upload.

On client network, we have 400mbps download and 30mbps upload.

When connected to AX1800 via ethernet, I am only getting 8mbps download and 8mbps upload.

The upload speed on the server side is slow. That is the cap of your download speed of the whole setup.
