Safe to Increase Transmit Power on GL-MT300A-ext above 100mW?

Hello,

Does anyone know if it’s safe to increase the transmit power (via the setting in DD-WRT, which I have installed on this router) above the default 100mW? DD-WRT reports that the maximum value is 1000mW. I’m not worried about the corresponding increase in RF noise but rather am worried about frying the device due to thermal concerns or any other issues.

I think that value is just fake. The max txpower is fixed in the rom and there is no way to set it as 1000mW.
