Hello. I would like to create a separate network for smart home devices (lan, wlan, 192.168.8.x). The devices should have Internet access, but no access to the Fritzbox network (wan, 192.168.178.x). Also, I want to connect to the .8.x network with OpenVPN.
How can I achieve this?
I think guest WIFI can meet your needs.
Why OVPN? Have you not heard of The One True VPN Lord & Saviour, WireGuard?
Seriously though; WG stomps all over the speed of OpenVPN. It’s not even a fair competition.
