Signal issues GL-XE3000 5G

Hi everyone, since today I have Signal issues with my GL-XE3000 and also internet drops/connections gone for a few seconds. I am using the "o2" provider in Germany with an unlimited 5G simcard. Is this issue related to the towers or to the GL-XE3000? Firmware Version 4.7.4 from 2025-03-17.


Using the X3000 with the same provider and no problems at all on my end, might be related to the tower? Did you try a restart of the router?

Still the same after reboot. Is it possible that the XE3000 is going into power saving mode, when no devices are connected to it? If yes, how to deactivate?

Could it also be from this setting: "Low Data Mode"?

As far as I know, there is no power saving mode, I have no issues at all, running the device for weeks now and perfect connection via 5G. Even when I am out and about in my Van powering the device via 12V - no issues so far. The Low Data Mode is the kind of tracking mode for this particular interface. Have you tried connecting it to another tower or move it outside to a different location/tower?

I talked with the o2 support and they told me, that the issue is due to their 5G tower in my area and “Basis Station” issues. So the xe3000 device is working fine. With Telekom I have zero issues here though.
