I wonder why GL-X1200 / Amarok
GL-X1200 / Amarok
is 867Mbps/5Ghz
and Slate
GL-AR750S / Slate
is 433Mbps/5Ghz.
They have the same QCA9563, @775MHz SoC CPU. Same RAM also but ok RAM not responsible of speed.

The radio, needs separate chipset and hardware design.
So it is not related to CPU or RAM.
For example, you can design a product using the same chipset but no wifi at all.
