SIMpoyo admin access via BE-3600?

Hello,

Not sure if this is the right section, I’m sorry if it’s not the case.

I’ve a BE-3600 with a SIMpoyo 4g usb dongle. I was expecting that there was a compatibility when using the two devices together and so to be able to control SIMpoyo settings directly when connected to the BE-3600 but I’m able to access SIMpoyo admin page only if i connect directly to its WiFi but not if I’m connected to the one on my BE-3600 or via the admin console on the BE-3600.

I’ve also tried to setup a traffic rule but the access to 192.168.1.1 is rejected.

Is there something to fix this or it’s just not supported? Thank you.

We tested this locally using the BE3600 (v4.8.3) with a SIMPoYo 4G uFi, and devices connected to the BE3600 were able to access the SIMPoYo admin panel without any issues.

Please check the following:

  1. When accessing the SIMPoYo admin panel in your browser, try entering the full URL with the HTTP protocol — http://192.168.1.1, as SIMPoYo does not support HTTPS
  2. Make sure the device connected to the BE3600 has only one active internet connection, and that no other network interface is using the same IP address

thanks for replying, i did the same test and it worked! I was keeping the repeater mode enabled and so i was not able to access to the SIMpoyo admin panel, once i disabled it and kept only the tethering it worked.
