Slate 7 (BE3600) - Space Heater

So I just purchased the Slate 7 (BE3600) from the GL-iNet website. Coming from the AR750S, Wow, I love it. Nice and quick packed with bells and whistles (functional touch screen) etc..

However,

Damn if this this thing gets hot (to the touch). I didn't measure its temp or anything but damn. I had a super small form factor 256GB USB3 Sandisk Flash Drive plugged into it (its known to be hot) that damn thing near burned my fingers unplugging it.

Beside the temp this thing gets, I'm overall happy with it.

Hi,

Now there are so much updated hardware on Slate7, with more powerful performance, faster CPU, more RAM, WiFi7, etc., plus the small size located in Travel router, so it may feel hotter to the touch.

It has a built-in turbofan, which discharges heat after exceeding the set temperature. You can use it with confidence.
