Yes I remember this being the case previously and although I don’t own this device, glinet earlier said they only supported version 1 and support for version2 would be added later.
It was later added to the beryl atleast
But this is post version 4.9 and I see slate 7 pro is still on 4.8.4 so it’s a waiting game now.
