If I insert an SD card in the running router it gets mounted ok:
/dev/mmcblk0p1: UUID=“c70f0b78-bfe6-468e-8bc7-6e5364fc15af” BLOCK_SIZE=“4096” TYPE=“ext4”
/dev/mmcblk0p1 7747568 70704 7261812 1% /tmp/mountd/disk3_part1
However I can not find any trace of it after a reboot, no entry in output from blkid
I use the SD card for automatic backups so I hope you will fix this.

So you mean after reboot, the SD card is not mounted.
But if the router is on already and you plug it in, it works OK. right?

Is there a way to disable this? Auto mounting is not desired behavior for those of us who use encrypted file systems on the microSD slot. It would be better to have something edit /etc/fstab so people who want the card to auto-mount can do so, rather than forcing the card to auto mount by default.

Yes, remove the mount script in /etc/hotplug.d/block

I assume we’ll have to do this after every firmware update?
can confirm it works in beta2
