I got a warning at this page

Router time differs from your browser

when i press sync, it syncs me to shanghai location, but I’m not there

What location/timezone are you in?

Is the timezone correct? i.e. same as Shanghai?

I chose asia/kuala lumpur +8

I am at kuala lumpur

I see. I think that is the reason. It only detect the timezone, not the real location.

This seems to be “normal” across my GL.iNet routers, not just the Slate AX. I set the timezone to America/Toronto, but it shows America/New York after syncing, which is in the same timezone.

I do not work for and I am not directly associated with GL.iNet
