Slate AX USB 3.0 cold boot Issue - 4.4.6-0908

Have to:

rmmod dwc3
modprobe dwc3

in rc.local to switch USB speed from 1.1 to 3.0 (5Gbps)
Using UASP capable external HDD.
Edit: irrelevant logs.

UAS is supported OOTB:

Flint v1, f/w 4.4.6-release1

hdparm -t /dev/sda when booting with the USB plugged in is 6MB/s, 450MB/s after replugging or reloading dwc3. (megabytes)

What is dwc3? I don’t have that process on my Flint.

root@flint:~# hdparm -t /dev/sda

/dev/sda:
 Timing buffered disk reads: 54 MB in 3.09 seconds = 17.49 MB/sec
root@flint:~# uptime
 05:44:59 up 23:43, load average: 0.21, 0.15, 0.10

@bring.fringe18 At the risk of being offtopic since moderation isn’t active here, why are you replying to every post on this forum while partially reading the details, and having completely irrelevant replies, not to mention calling users with glinet staff tag names (weebs etc)?

In my post I mentioned modprobe, that’s for loading kernel module, not process.
I never mentioned that it didn’t support UAS, maybe you are using a translator?
Although Flint & SlateAX are very similar they do have slightly different build config and pin mappings.

I really appreciate your efforts on being helpful, but there is no need to needlessly reply to every post with irrelevant details as it may deter helpful responses.

Thanks for your time, need to recompile kernel with debug flags to logwalk, for now I’m simply reloading the module as a dirty fix.
You may have missed it but the logs you provided show dwc3.

You were rude to few people here hence my honest reply, flagging didn’t do much, I hope this public complaint grabs attention, not sure what’s the point of sabotaging/spamming a technical forum…

You’re more than welcome to look over my post history. Be sure to note how many ‘Solutions’ you have.

JFC.

ps/ My Slate AX is a backup unit but thanks for reminding me it needs some TLC. At least you can say you’re good for something.
