Recently I upgraded the firmware on my Slate AX to version 4.6.2.
Since then the clients connected no longer use the VPN DNS. I've tried several different options in the DNS menu but without success. Any ideas?
I'm using a Wireguard LAN2LAN VPN which is configured to use a specific DNS server on the VPN network / the other LAN.
I'm able to access all resources located on the VPN network / other LAN.
The DNS settings menu is configured to Automatic and shows a DNS from the repeater and it shows the DNS from Wireguard.

Maybe also good to mention that the Android device I'm on right now is connected to the Slate AX and shows 192.168.8.1 as the configured DNS server, which is the IP of Slate AX.
When I change the DNS settings to manual in the Slate AX menu and configure 10.x.x.x as the manual DNS server I'm no longer able to resolve DNS requests. I can still access hosts on the other VPN lan based on their IP. Clients running in the other (VPN) LAN and are configured to use the 10.x.x.x DNS server have no problems resolving hosts.
Hope this helps identify the issue.
Downgraded to 4.5.16 with settings as shown above with DNS set to automatic. Resulted in DNS not working anymore, had to manually set a DNS server to get things working again. Upgraded to 4.6.2 and DNS in automatic mode worked again.
Only option I can think of now is resetting the firnware and configure everything from scratch.
Solved!
I copied the Wireguard client configuration into a new Wireguard client configuration and started using that one and now the DNS on the VPN network is being used again.
