Slow 5ghz on BE6500

Recently got a Flint 3E to upgrade from an aging R7800 and my speeds are pretty poor compared to what I used to get.
At max I hit around 370mbps on a 1gig down network, 160 enabled, etc etc.
Even my old R7800 managed to get around 500mbps on both my phone and other devices, so I dont know what’s up. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

Sorry for the delayed reply.

Could you please help confirm the following:

  1. Is the BE6500 directly connected to the ISP modem via Ethernet?

  2. What speed do devices connected to the BE6500 via Ethernet achieve?

  3. When phones and other devices connect to the BE6500, what link speed do they negotiate?

    • For Android devices, you can find this under: Settings → Wi-Fi → Tap the BE6500 SSID → Link Speed
    • For Windows devices, you can find this under: Settings → Network & Internet → Wi-Fi → Click the BE6500 SSID properties → Aggregated link speed (Receive/Transmit)

Please also make sure that:

  1. The current speed test is not running through a VPN
  2. The phones and other devices are connected to the BE6500 5GHz SSID instead of the 2.4GHz SSID
