Having to use my recently acquired Mifi abroad with local data SIMs the situation could arise that I have to active the SIM with a SMS/text message and enter a code. I have no clue how to do this within the UI and I am not very familiar with AT commands (maybe there is a template for this specific task). Is it possible just to activate the SIM in a separate smartphone and subsequently transfer the SIM into the Mifi device, or is activation EMEI specific. My apologies if this question was raised before. Your help is greatly appreciated Jaap   ---

You can just activate in your phone then insert into the MiFi. We are making the UI to send message directly in MiFi. ---
