Somewhat drops my connection. My Android device or the router?

Hey there!

I’m using this USB-C here for connection my TripleTek 9 Pro (Android tablet) via LAN cable to my GL-MT300N-V2 Mini Smart Router, running latest firmware update. From time to time, means after some hours, the TripleTek 9 Pro no longer shows the LAN symbol in the top bar, means the LAN connection is being interrupted / not active. The trick is, that I simply manually have to disconnect and reconnect the LAN cable (btw. no matter if the LAN port on the router or the LAN port on the TripleTek 9 Pro side) and voila, the connection works instant again.

My question is now: could this be the USB-C hub (because maybe it’s not 100% supported by the TripleTek 9 Pro or Android in general) or is there some power saving things happening for the TripleTek 9 Pro which also affects the LAN connection?

Background: I’m using the TripleTek 9 Pro as TouchOSC controller for controlling Loopy Pro (via OSC). Yes, Wifi also would work, but a connection via Ethernet is much more butter smooth. I need a super stable Ethernet connection but I don’t know WHAT causes the above said issue.

Any help appreciated, many thanks!

Can you post the GL-MT300N-V2 System Log from before the disconnect and after the reconnect?

I do not work for and I am not directly associated with GL.iNet
