I have received and setup my new Flint 2 router and run some test. I actually receive the same speed as with my old ASUS RT-AC86u around 4-500 Mbit/s and wonder why? I was expecting a bit more due to the fact that I am on 900/900 fibre and test in the same room where the router is. why would a wifi 6 router give me the same speed as a wifi 5 router?
I just got it today, everything is default. I was wondering if there are any settings I have to change to achieve what you get? This is very strange and hard to justify spending money on a new router
I am now on 160MHz but its not the improvement I would expect. I need to rund speed test in my router itself to see what I get and if this is really the wifi
What does your phone show for a link speed? My Pixel 10 links at 1200 Mbps to my Asus AX88U Pro with 80 MHz ax channel and does ~800-900 Mbps on speed tests so you should be seeing higher with your Flint 2 even at 80 MHz.
Edit: Just fired up my GL-iNet Spitz AX3000 and am linking at 1200 Mbps on 80 MHz ax channel and does ~850 Mbps on speed tests.
I have tried this already with the same result, my MacBook has the same speed so I do not think it has to do with the client but could be wrong with this assumption.
