Spitz GL3000- Power down question

I noticed there is no power switch. I wired a switch inline in my rv. Is it normal and ok to just kill the power when I want to turn it off?

My Certa, Flint, Slate AX all seem to survive having their power ‘hard cut’ by yanking the wall wart/power cord. I don’t see why your method wouldn’t be fine but I’d be tempted to ensure supressing any transients before flipping that switch on. Do you have a digital multimeter kicking about to take some readings?

You don’t want to spike & burn out something in the Spitz. YMMV.

Its connected to the 13.7 volt battery bank. Not going to be any transient power.
