Strange behive of the 2.5 WAN port used as LAN on Puli

Hi,
I have the a strange issue on my Puli.
When I change the 2.5G WAN port and use as LAN, if I connected with a computer it works fine, but if connect with the iPhone adapter, the iPhone never receive a valid IP address.
Now, same iPhone, same adapter and cable, connected to the LAN port, works fine, someone have any idea of the reason? I need both ethernet working, should I be concern of some issue on the 2.5G WAN port?

2.5 Gbps does often have issues with "not so smart" network cards.
So I assume it's just a bug between the iPhone Ethernet adapter and the 2.5 Gbps WAN port.

Hi, thanks for the answer, I'll keep this in mind.
Anyway, in my case it's not a big deal, but it could useful to know if there is any workaround to let the two port work 100% the same.
