Subject: GL-MT6000 (Flint 2) — eMMC/GPT corruption, firmware won't persist after reboot, need recovery file

Hello,

I own a GL-MT6000 (Flint 2) router. After a failed firmware update attempt via the web panel, the router stopped booting normally and would not stay in U-Boot recovery mode via the button/LED method (192.168.1.1 became unreachable, ping returned "Destination host unreachable").

I connected via UART (GND/TX/RX, 115200 8N1) and was able to access the U-Boot console. Using the mtkupgrade command, I was able to reach the U-Boot Web UI and upload a firmware image successfully — the router booted, the web panel loaded, and I could set an admin password. However:

Internet/WAN connectivity did not work in this session

After power-cycling the router (unplugging), everything reset back to the broken state — the firmware does not persist

This behavior matches reports I found of eMMC GPT/partition table corruption on this model (similar to forum thread "Bricked (GPT Corruption?) & Physically Obstructed UART (2026 EU Model)"). It seems the firmware is loading/running from RAM but not being written persistently to eMMC.

Could you please help by providing a GPT/eMMC recovery file for the GL-MT6000, similar to what was provided in that case? I have working UART access and can follow instructions to flash it via U-Boot console or Web UI.

Router details:

S/N: cb6af3f589b52160

Model: GL-MT6000 (Flint 2)

Current firmware attempted: 25.12.5 (r33051-f5dae5ece4)

UART: confirmed working, can access U-Boot console

Symptom: firmware boots temporarily from RAM, does not persist after power cycle

Thank you for your help.

Hey can you send me the files for a fresh clean start as well? I have a working uart connection.
