T-Mobile Home SIM stop working with Mudi 7

I’ve had T-Mobile Home Internet for years. Got an early bird Mudi 7, plugged in the SIM, can’t get it to work no matter which APN I select, called T-Mobile and they gave me a new SIM, still didn’t work until one time it just started to work with fbb.home. Use a few times, turned it off. A month later, turned it on and it shows SIM 1 not registered like before. Changed APN to fast.t-mobile.com already. Just crossing my fingers that it will cooperate when I need it to? Both T-Mobile rep I talked to insisted that T-Mobile don’t lock the SIM against third party router/devices, btw. Please help.

Hello,

If there is option to export the log under the Cellular connection, please download it and share it with us for analysis.

If no such prompts are available, please execute the following AT commands and share the output with us for review. Thanks

AT+QNETRC?
AT+CGDCONT?
AT+QMBNCFG="List"
AT+QENG="servingcell"

TMO home sim aren’t even officially working with Unifi 5G products, have you ever used TMO home sim with a 3rd party modem/router? There is no way TMO will allow their $30 unlimited home plan on a mobile product. I understand with 3rd party hardware, they will scan to see if its their modem/router and disable the connection if its 3rd party

I would separate two things here: first check whether the modem is actually registered on the network, then worry about APN. If it says SIM 1 not registered, changing between fbb.home and fast.t-mobile.com probably will not fix that part. The AT output Cathy asked for should show whether it is seeing a tower and what profile/MBN is active. Also make sure the Mudi has the latest modem/firmware before collecting the log, otherwise support may chase an old modem config.
