Can users post ideas to extend the functionality of comet. I won't be able to play with mine for a while.
I've read one to start, install tailscale on it.
That would allow phone to access web kvm.
Others have good ideas?
Under Toolbox -> Wake on Lan:
this seems to scan the network for devices so you can see what else is on the LAN.
it seems to give a generic device name, an IP address, and the MAC address of the device.
Which would lead me to the question of whether or not using it as an Exit Node in Tailscale is a possible feature that could be added.
Tailscale is already supported in versions 1.1.0 and above, and provides a user interface
My tailscale was an example of what one might do with the product.
I was looking for users to add to the list of features one might do with it.
if you connect a USB drive to the KVM you can access the contents in the shell and copy to / from the Virtual media share.
not sure how useful this is, but it would be nice if you could symlink to it somehow and expand the available storage in the virtual drive at the remote end.
it would also allow a user at the KVM end to share files with the person who is driving the KVM.
