Trying to clone MAC

I have an Opal GL -SFT-1200. I am trying to configure my iPhone 14 with my Opal so they share the same MAC address. However every time I clone Opal with my iPhone's MAC it goes off line. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Please ensure that there is only 1 device using the MAC online. You can't have 2 devices sharing the same MAC and both are connected the same time.

Thank you for supplying the resolution. I changed the MAC on the Opal and my iPhone to match. Then connected Opal to my ISP and my iPhone to the Opal. Works just fine. Programing it for an upcoming cruise.
