Trying to setup remote access to my embedded device attached to GL-MT300N-V2

Hi all,
Sorry if I come off as a beginner with the whole VPN, Site to Site, etc.
I have purchased a GL-MT300N-V2 with the hope that I can access my NVR that I would like to have full access to it and the features it offers such as Virtual Hosting which when (on the same LAN) it offers me access to the attached cameras via a LAN porting redirection.
Because the NVR only works with local IP redirection I can only access this feature when I have a VPN service running or a local PC with a remote session running (Team Viewer or similar).
I’m trying to avoid the cost of a micro PC with remote session running and thought the GL-MT300N-V2 should make this task and cost simple.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you have a public IP, you should set up DDNS and be able to access MT300N-V2 remotely via the ddns. Then you should do port forwarding from MT300N-V2 to your NVR. In this case, you can access the NVR remotely via your ddns and port.

You need a public IP in order to do above.

But if you do not have, we will have a different solution for you. We are still developing it and you may try in 1 month.
