Turn on/off power supply to the phone while USB tethering

Hi there,

I’m looking for a way to turn on/off the power supply for the phone while it is connected to the router for USB tethering. And I could not find any information about it.

The reason is that I’d like to avoid overcharging the phone after reaching 100%.

If this is not possible, would be great it this is added to the wish list for future implementation.

I don’t think this is possible.

You can cut the usb power completely and loose tethering though

I never done this yet, but you can try cut the red cable out your phone data cable.
