Unable to access slate locally via app on 4.8

I can no longer connect to my Slate via the app after upgrading to 4.8. It tells me that I need to connect to the same WLAN that I’m already connected to. I can connect via the GUI over a web browser just fine, and the app appears to work when going through the cloud.

I tested it locally and everything works fine.
You can add a device on the APP, enter the IP address, and then manage it.
