Unable to tether on GL-AR750

I did everything in the tutorial to get easy tether to work, however two things didn’t match up.

When using putty to type : easytether-usb, the console comes back and says device not found check the easy tether app…or something like that.

Everything else worked with no problems

The other thing is that the device is reading the connection as a modem instead of a tether.

Any help is appreciated.

Does the other steps give the correct output? Maybe you can post what you have done with more details. e.g. firmware version, which ipk did you use. after installation is there any strange output et.c

I ended up figuring it out. I plugged my phone into the router prior to running the “easytether-usb” through ssh.

Everything else.worked fine
