Unknown online clients?

Just noticed this behavior today and I'm not sure what I did while tinkering with my Beryl AX may have caused it. I'm pretty sure these are "known" devices as I recognize the device IPs in the client page. It used to display the device names, but 3/5 devices are now displaying as "Unknown". What's up?

What are these devices?

I know that android phones and tablets often standard have mac randominization on, then it is normal this happen.

Surprisingly, my Apple TV 4K as well. The other devices are Google Pixels and under network details, I do see a Randomized Mac Address. How come this didn't appear as "unknown" before?

Well, it is all based on the mac address, when you have set the client in the ui, it will be there aslong the mac is the same, if you reconnect it will be different.

Best is to disable this feature on the device

It may be useful to occasionally clear/clean up the client list, and disable the random MAC on clients if you trust this network, your own router should be worthy of your trust :face_in_clouds:
