USB port on Slate 7 BE3600 disabled?

Hi everyone, I’ve been using a BE3600 (Slate7) for a few months now, and I’m really happy with it — the hardware is actually overkill for my needs. Today I tried the tethering function, but when I connect my iPhone 14, it’s like there’s no connection at all. Then I tried plugging in a regular USB stick and noticed the LED doesn’t light up, so it seems the port isn’t supplying power. Is this normal? Could it be a firmware setting since I’m using 5V and 3A, or should it work regardless?

USB data port will require a 9V 2A or higher power input, 5V will disable the port.

I’ve learned this the hard way while powering the slate 7 from my car usb-c port :smile: .
