Usb tethering on E750v2 not working

I have been using E750 v2 for almost 2 years now. I would get internet via Ethernet cable, sim card or wifi repeating.
Usually when I want to get internet via my phone i would setup a hotspot and connect to it. Now i want to try USB tethering. The problem is that my router/phones (both android an iphone) do not see the connected E750:

but i know that my phones/cables are working because i can tether to my macbook:

Is there anything missing in my configuration of E750? Is there something broken with the port?

Hello,

The phone needs to be connected to the USB-A port of the E750 to enable tethering connection of the E750.
