I’ve recently acquired the new Mudi 7, and as you might imagine, I am steered towards private solutions for my network, So I have a ready to use VPN gateway on the go.
That being said, not all data-only carriers (especially private ones) will have a web page to check balances or top up, especially because some of them want no login data to be around and linked back to a user, which leads to the demand for a proper USSD Code execution and response for some operations.
Also, not all data-only sims offer SMS (which is a common path for balance checks) requiring proper handling of USSD code responses to perform actions as simple as checking your balance.
Even though the sending of AT commands work, I read in the forum it might disrupt the configurations, and my single attempt (prior to reading the forum) didn’t land be a proper response from my carrier.
Any chance we can have that added to the firmware?
