VPN policies feature removed from V4.0.0?

Hello,

I see that VPN policies feature was removed from both Flint and Slate AX that run on V4
I’m using it a lot on Brume & Mudi to filter my VPN Wireguard traffic. Is there a particular reason why it was taken out ?

Alternatively is the OpenWRT vpn-policy-routing plug-in a compliant replacement ?
