VPN policy based on domain's TLD

Hello!

Thank you so so much for the flexible multi-vpn policy abilities. They truly make gl.inet the best product out there!

One thing I’d like to request is to add the ability to add a whole TLD (let’s say .ru or just “ru”) to the custom VPN domain-based policy. Right now I have to list all the domains that I want to access, but I would prefer to just list the whole country instead.

My use case is that I have a wireguard server in that country and I’d just like to use that country’s IP when I’m browsing that country.

I understand that it won’t make ALL of my connections to that country go through the VPN. Only those, which domains have the .ru in the end.

Should be an easy fix on your end.

Thank you so much!

does stating “ *.ru “ not work in domain based policy?

Nope. That field does not allow wildcards (it matches all subdomains by default, so no wildcard needed)
